Matthew 13:47-50The Kingdom of God

Wouldn’t you love to live in a world with no evil? Whether it is hurricanes, raging fires, mass shootings, sexual assaults, greedy corporations, or sickness, we are constantly aware of the destruction and evil around us and within us. But this weekend as CFC gathers we are going to celebrate the good news of the kingdom of God, that a day is coming when this evil will no longer be the reality of our existence! As we close out our current series on Jesus’ parables of the kingdom of God we will dive deep into God’s ongoing redeeming work in us and his plan to bring an end to all that is evil. I pray that the Spirit of God will prepare us all for the work that he wants to do this weekend as we seek his kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven.
