Habakkuk 1:13-2:20Habakkuk

Waiting in line at Giant, there was a delay at the check-out. So, I switched to another, longer line, because I didn’t want to be stuck. As soon as I made the switch, the line I left opened back up and people were checking out in record time. Dang! My tendency to rush, when I’m honest, reveals a deeper problem in me. This weekend we remind ourselves that waiting is not a waste, it’s worship. It’s not an inactive, thumb-twiddling failure in the system, but it can be an effective time that God uses to transform us.
