Volunteer Spotlight | Audie Spina

I have been serving in the Worship Ministry as a bassist for a bit over a year now. I wanted to serve in this capacity because musical worship is important to me and I wanted to be a part of it at CFC to share it with folks. I’ve really grown through my time serving because it helps me refocus on the Lord, to serve by pointing people to Him. CFC is such a kind and loving place- being a part of this community and the Worship Ministry has been a great blessing to me! My favorite worship memory is of a time when I was playing on a loud stage. We were using floor monitors at the time and I was standing next to the drums, (as all bass players should). It was loud, but the people were given to totally worshiping the Lord. They were giving their all in song, and their voices completely overwhelmed the noise on the stage. I could hear their worship clearly. It was an awesome moment.
