We will also continue in Mark. Wow! Look at all the human failure that led to the death of Jesus. There was envy (Sanhedrin), fear (Pilate), demand (crowd) and arrogance (soldiers). All these characters didn’t realize at the time that God in His sovereignty has the ability to take our human failures and allow them to be used for good- in this case to provide salvation for mankind. How can I get there? How can I overcome the shame and discouragement of my failures? May hope arise in our midst as we choose to look to Jesus and worship Him!
