New Hire | Communications Manager

As CFC continues to grow, so does our need for excellence in communication. In alignment with our ADVANCE initiative, to improve our missional impact, maintain healthy community, and unleash members for ministry, the church needs to develop effective communication and marketing strategies. We are excited to announce, Tricia Garber will be joining our team as part-time Communications Manager. Tricia will be in charge of managing the flow of information at CFC, creating written content, and coaching staff in written and verbal messaging.

Tricia has a Bachelor of Science degree from The Pennsylvania State University (GO LIONS!). She comes to us with seven years in sales, and ten years in marketing and communications experience at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company. After taking five years to be at home with her three sons, Avery (15), Andrew (13), and Aaron (10), she re-entered the workplace this past year, substitute teaching in the Hempfield School District, which she will continue to do.

If Tricia looks familiar to you, that is because she and her husband Mark have been attending CFC since 1997! In those 21 years, Tricia has served the church in many capacities including Children’s Ministry, The Capital Stewardship Campaign for CFC’s current church building, and most recently in Women’s Ministry. She is excited to use what she has learned in the corporate setting to serve God and our church. Please welcome Tricia.

Executive Pastor

Jason partners with the lead pastor and elder board to generate vision, while facilitating the administration board and supervising the staff and volunteer ministry coordinators. With 14 years of youth ministry experience split between Young Life and CFC, Jason and his family served as missionaries in Ethiopia for three years before returning to Lancaster in 2014. Jason is married to his childhood sweetheart, Emily and together they have three young daughters.
