Missional Mindset | The Extraordinary Give

 |  Article & News

CFC loves the ExtraOrdinary Give. This past Friday, our missions team was thrilled to give away $21,000 to several local ministries.

Here’s why this is so exciting:

  • God is working in Lancaster! 13 of the top 20 highest grossing non-profits were faith-based. Jesus is a transforming our culture through his people.
  • Your generosity to CFC is reaching beyond our church. Collectively, we are an extension of gospel efforts throughout the county.
  • Several of these nonprofits are led by or employ CFCers, which means our church is jammed packed with visionaries and servant leaders, all of whom are living beyond themselves.
  1. In Luke 6, Jesus compels us to be generous—to forgive and to give—seeking the positive well-being of others. Our generosity will be a “good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over…” The ExtraOrdinary Give is just a small glimpse of what is possible. I pray that we continue to reflect the love of Jesus and create pockets of heaven to the fractured world around us. Thank you for helping us to make a local impact.
