IF offers an annual pause in the daily rhythm of life. Just after New Years resolutions have faded, IF is a great time to refocus on a deeper relationship with Christ. It is Jesus focused and Biblically grounded. The body of Christ is represented by different churches, a variety of ages and backgrounds and it is beautiful.

I attended my first IF:Gathering at a friends home five years ago with my 2 month old baby girl. It was powerful and although I didn’t take notes or have a take away that year it was enough for me to attend a year later. That next year, through worship & teaching, “Good, Good Father” was ingrained on my heart. When our son was born in 2016 that message rung true and we chose his name because it means God is good. Little did I know we would need that reminder of God’s goodness when our infant son almost died at 5 weeks of age. The following year I needed to know that although there is pain in this world you need to “keep your eyes on the master.” In focusing on the Lord I could start to heal from my sons brush with death instead of letting pain be the wedge that was keeping me from Him. Last year, I was encouraged to Read the Word & Be Still. I don’t know what IF:Gathering 2019 holds but experience tells me that God will speak to my heart and to yours.

This is a refreshing and approachable women’s conference. It’s local meaning none of the hassle of a large convention, stay in your own bed if you like and no out of town preparations. It has big name speakers with local worship and break out sessions to talk with women at your table. Yes, it’s a simulcast but don’t let me lose you there. Our IF:Lancaster team knows what they’re doing and have made a simulcast into a true women’s conference.

God speaks through the worship sessions. Strongholds broken, tears flow and hearts mended. The songs have greatly impacted the teaching and God used them to work in my heart. He still uses them.

You can count on sitting at a table with old friends or new friends to be made. There will be hot drinks and cold, tasty snacks and treats. And with the awesome speakers can you believe lunch is provided? For a low registration cost $50!

The outstanding lineup of speakers will point you to Jesus and impact you in your walk as you seek the Lord, experience hardship or prepare for what God has next. So grab your friend, mom, neighbor or teen and come. When was the last time you did something for you? For your relationship with the Lord? You will walk away glad you came.
