Our Volunteer Spotlight this week is on Kelsey Hernley! Kelsey and her family started attending CFC shortly before the Covid shutdowns in the spring of 2020. They were eager to return and meet new people as soon as things opened back up. Kelsey and her husband Benjamin live here in Lancaster with their two girls, Rheya and Elliana. If you haven’t met Kelsey yet, here is a little about her. Be sure to say “hi” next time you see her!
Where in CFC do you Volunteer? Women’s Ministry Event Planning Team
What is the best part of volunteering at CFC? Getting to meet new people in the church and seeing an event outreach to so many different people!
What is the toughest part of volunteering? Juggling our family calendar so I can serve.
Why do you think it’s important to serve in the church? We are all given different gifts and can touch people’s lives. The church wouldn’t run without its people caring for each other with the gifts God has given them! My family has experienced this and our church was our family when we lived across the country and provided for us in so many ways! I also want my kids to see the importance of using all that God has given you for the good of His people!
What is your Favorite Verse or Worship Song? Raise a Hallelujah
Tell us something people at CFC may not know about you, My husband and I are high school sweethearts and have moved to 3 different cities since we got married.
Thank you for plugging in at CFC in Women’s Ministry Kelsey! Through your role serving CFC women, you are helping to make committed followers of Christ!
