CFC Reopening July 11 & 12 Providing New Options for Weekend Services

 |  Article & News

We are excited to announce that we will begin hosting weekend services here again at CFC July 11th & 12th! This will give you four options for gathering.

  • You can continue engaging with us online, as you have been over the past few months. Join us on Facebook Sunday mornings at 9am, or you can access the service on YouTube, Vimeo, or at each Saturday night at 6pm.

  • Picnics with a Purpose, we have CFC’ers that are hosting small groups of 25 or less at their homes to have a meal together, and have a meaningful discussion. We are looking for additional hosts. Click on Picnics with a Purpose at the Summer of Connection Page, and indicate if you prefer to host or attend a picnic with a purpose.

The above two options are available right now!

In addition, we are opening the CFC property back up for Weekend Services on July 11 & 12 which brings us to the third and fourth options..

  • We’ll be having a Saturday Service at our property that is going to be outdoors at 7pm. This is something new we are trying out. We will see how it goes through the rest of July. We think it’s going to be pretty awesome! Dan and his team are working hard to get the staging and sound equipment set up. We have a big shaded area in the parking lot at that time of day. You can come, bring a lawn chair… We will be social distancing! You will only need to wear a mask until you are seated, and we’ll be worshiping together outside!*
  • Our fourth option is a Sunday morning service, which will be in the CFC building in our main auditorium at 10am. At this time, we are requiring masks for all gatherings inside at CFC.That’s a decision the elders and Pastor Bobby spent a lot of time considering.and feel is the best way we can love people.

*If it rains on a Saturday Night, we will make the call to go inside no later than 4pm that day. We will still have the service. It will move inside; and again, since we’ll be inside, we will require masks.

*Families are invited to attend together. We’d encourage you to pack a small activity bag for your kids during the service. CFC will provide an additional item for kids at each service!

So, those are our four options to gather.. You WILL need to register for options 2 through 4 at our website. If you are going to watch online, no need to register, but if you would like to join a Picnic with a Purpose, or come to one of our onsite services, we ask that you register at our website, because the number of people we can accommodate is limited. Registrations for the July 11th & 12th services open on Tuesday, July 7th and from then on out, it will be the Tuesday before the next weekend.
