The Kingdom Has Come

What would you say is the greatest threat to God’s kingdom? It’s odd that Jesus, while on earth didn’t fight against Rome. Instead His clash was against the false spiritual leaders of the day. Why is that? Perhaps the greatest threat to God’s kingdom is misrepresentation. In this chapter Jesus uses the strongest language recorded (you would almost think it was unchristian); “Sons of hell, fools, blind guides, snakes, hypocrites, white-washed tombs…”
