At CFC, volunteering is more than helping out. It is one of the primary ways people connect, build relationships, and grow within the church community. Every role matters, and your unique gifts contribute to the health and life of this church. The church was never meant to be built by a few. It grows when many people choose to take part, and there is a place for you here.
When you serve, you are supported by leaders who invest in you through hands-on training and encouragement, helping you grow alongside others.
With over 600 volunteers across our teams, nearly everything that happens at CFC is made possible by people serving together, building community, and helping make church possible for others.

Current Needs
We currently need volunteers for the following positions.
Photography & Video Team
Capture the moments that make up the life of our church for many different purposes and uses. Some special projects and event assignments.
Community Group Member/Leader
Community Groups allow us to connect with one another, share each other’s burdens and truly explore what it means to follow Christ. Volunteer to help us with leadership events throughout the year or reach out to us if you are interested leading a Community Group.
Director of the Day
Provide support for Community Kids leaders and families at 2 services per month.
Elementary Leader
Guide kids into a deeper relationship with God through activities, discussion, prayer and fun at 2 services per month.
Nursery Caregiver
Care for and love babies and toddlers at 2 services per month.
One-On-One Buddy
Provide one-on-one support for a child during the service.
Preschool Leader
Engage 2-6 year olds in Bible stories, games and art projects at 2 services per month.
Toy Cleaning
Come in for 2-3 hours, once a month, to help deep clean our classroom toys. Cleaning can be completed over a weekday or after church on Sundays.
Cafe Team
Make coffee and serve snacks before and after services.
Door Greeter
Assist with opening doors and welcoming guests.
Usher
Greet guests, assist with seating, count and log service numbers.
Welcome Area
Assist first time visitors before and after services, give welcome gifts, answer general CFC questions, help with connection card sign-ups and prayer requests.
5th and 6th Grade Leaders
Lead 5th and 6th grade students in their spiritual journey through activities, discussion, and prayer at the 9am service at Chestnut Hill and 11am service at Bethel Drive, two times per month.
Men’s Ministry Team
Get connected by attending a bible study, the fall retreat, a men’s breakfast or getting involved in discipleship. From there, ask how you can help serve in these various events by assisting in planning, set-up, discipling, teaching and more!
Women’s Ministry Team
Plan and lead the necessary tasks to run Bible Studies, Connection Events and Discipleship. Get plugged into areas of your giftings and passions. Opportunities include: teaching, registration, discipleship, hospitality, event planning, promotions and more.
Audio Engineer
General audio engineering and mixing for weekend services and special events. Experience is helpful. Additional training is provided.
Instrumentalists and Vocalists
Vocalists and Instrumentalists who have a heart and desire for leading our church in songs of praise at weekend services and special events. Auditions required. Electric and Acoustic Guitar, Piano, Keys/Synth, Bass, Drums, Singers, String Players, etc.
Livestream Camera Operator
Operate one of our livestream cameras during Sunday services. Take cues from our Video Director and learn about livestreaming tech and equipment. No experience necessary. Training provided.
Media
Operate the slideshow presentation software for weekend services and special events. No experience necessary. Training provided.
Tech Support
Open and close the auditorium prior to services and be available to problem-solve complications in our AVL systems if not working properly during rehearsal or services. Training is provided.
Video Director
Operate livestreaming equipment including video switcher and livestream encoding program. Work with the Camera Operators to facilitate the livestream for weekend services. Some experience helpful but not necessary. Training is provided.
Communications
Use your creativity to tell the story of what God is doing at CFC—through design, photography, and media that inspire and inform.
Graphic Design Team
Design print and digital materials for promotional and informational uses for sermon series, various events and CFC ministries.

Help create spaces where people can grow spiritually, share life together, and discover what it means to follow Jesus in community.

Have a heart for children and a desire to serve and share the gospel with them. Training and background checks required.

Student Community
Play a key role in shaping the faith and identity of middle and high school students through relationship, presence, and example.

Lead 5th and 6th grade students in their spiritual journey through activities, discussion, and prayer at the 9am service at Chestnut Hill and 11am service at Bethel Drive, two times per month.
Middle & High School Leaders
Be a key role in a young person’s spiritual journey by building trusted relationships with students, loving students, leading intentional discussions, and celebrating spiritual growth in students’ lives. Leaders serve Sunday nights throughout the school year.
Men’s Ministry
Walk alongside other men in discipleship and community—encouraging each other toward spiritual maturity.

Facilitate our musical worship and creative elements during weekend services and events to help others encounter God.
