In Romans 12 the Apostle Paul begins to move away from the majestic theological writings of chapters 1-11 and begins to focus on the “so what?”; the practical application in our lives of everything he has written about concerning who God is and all that He has done for us. Being followers of Christ is not about accruing a lot of knowledge but putting what we hear and know into practice. This weekend, as people transformed by the love and mercy of Jesus, we will look at three areas of relationships. “In view of God’s mercy” how are we to think about and relate to: Ourselves Our brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ Those who have wounded us, or would persecute us because we follow Jesus.
