Romans 3:9-26

3/4/17

Standing in a Cafeteria line a few years ago, a woman in front of me slumped down and I just sort of caught her. My first reaction was to try and prop her back up. Finally, my wife suggested that I lay her down on the floor. That’s the best thing I could have done for her. After a look at the human dilemma, the final verdict comes in, and no one is able to “prop themselves up” before God. It doesn’t look too bright. I’m like that woman, unable to stand before God. Just “lay me down”. It’s game over for us all! But then in verse 21 there is a sudden glimmer of hope: “But now…!”
