BLESS Practices

Get started with BLESS Practices
When it comes to sharing our faith with others, we often experience missed opportunities. We know we should be sharing our faith, but we lack direction, confidence, or motivation. BLESS Practices outline five ways we can intentionally share our faith, as part as our every day lives. The acronym B.L.E.S.S. stands for:
- Begin with Prayer: for and with unsaved people
- Listen: ASK QUESTIONS, including about their spiritual story
- Eat: Show hospitality and build the relationship
- Serve and Ask for Help: Care for them, let them care for me
- Share my Story and the Good News of Jesus: Invite Response
Accountability is a key piece for these practices to be fruitful. You’ll want to have at least one other person to meet with regularly to review how you have been BLESSing others. Your Community Group is an ideal place to start! (If you are not in a Community Group yet, connect HERE). We have also found keeping track on a simple worksheet to be invaluable as reference; and to see the lasting impact of BLESSing others!
