Community Kids

In Community Kids, children from birth to 4th grade can learn what it means to know and love God–all in a welcoming, fun, and safe environment.

At CFC, your child will experience an age-appropriate environment where they’ll learn the Bible in creative, fun, and relevant ways. Our caring leaders partner with you to shape young lives into an authentic faith that will follow them into adulthood. We can’t wait to meet you and your child!

Frequently asked questions

What should I do when I arrive for the first time?

Stop by the main Welcome Area when you arrive. Our team will direct you to the Kids Check-In station and walk you through registering your child for the first time.

How does check-in work?

You’ll receive a name tag for your child and a matching guardian tag for pickup. Each tag includes a unique ID number we can use to contact you during the service if needed.

How does pickup work?

Present your guardian tag at pickup. For your child’s safety, children are released only to adults with the matching tag.

How early can I check my child in?

Check-in open 15 minutes before each service so you have time to get your child settled before heading into worship.

What is available for babies and toddlers (Birth – 2 years)?

Our Nursery provides loving, attentive care so you can attend service with peace of mind. Your child will enjoy safe play, music, books, and nurturing interaction.

We also offer a Nursing Mother’s Room and spaces for families to listen to the sermon together at both locations.

What happens in Preschool ministry (2 Years–Kindergarten)?

Preschoolers experience structured play, worship through music and movement, a Bible story, and hands-on crafts and activities that reinforce what they’re learning about God each week.

What is Elementary ministry (1st through 4th grade) like?

Elementary (1st–4th Grade) is relational and engaging. Kids begin with connection and play. They experience the Bible through interactive teaching, and gather in small groups to discuss how Scripture applies to their everyday lives. Leaders help kids respond to God in meaningful ways.

What if my child has special needs?

We want every child to feel safe, known, and included at Community Kids.

We use a buddy system to support kids of all abilities and will work with your family to create a plan that helps your child participate fully in Community Kids.

A Sensory Room is available for children who may need a break from the classroom environment.

We’d love to connect with you before your visit so we can prepare well. Email us at kids@communityfellowship.com
to plan your visit.

How do you handle food allergies?

Your child’s safety is important to us. Our team is trained to accommodate food allergies and takes them seriously.

Our 2’s – Kindergarten classes receive Cheerios or Goldfish as snack with an option of gluten free pretzels

If your child has other allergy needs, please let us know at check-in or reach out ahead of time at kids@communityfellowship.com. We want you to feel confident while your child is in our care.
