Jonah 1
Here we find the tension between the compassion of God and our complacency. It’s wonderful to know that God has a mission for all of us, and that He can even use our failures for good. In chapter one we find Jonah, adrift and asleep to the world around him. When God ‘awakens’ Jonah, good things start to happen.
