Is God pleased with us?
Sometimes I find myself reading Scripture, or praying or worshipping God, for all the wrong reasons. If I’m honest, I make it about me- it’s therapeutic, or self-serving. That’s not all bad, but Isaiah writes to Judah to confront this issue. What is the real purpose of worship? We find that worship is not an end in itself, but a means to a far greater end. Let’s take a closer look.
