At times I get what’s called compassion fatigue. I don’t want to give of myself and prefer to not be bothered. Sometimes I pray and tell God how I feel. In new ways He reminds me of His ever-present, sacrificial love and it inspires me again to love others. It’s a love that comes from Him and cannot be generated from within.
