Peace – A Strong Shepherd
Are you a bit wary of bad leadership?
The prophet Micah (ca. 700 BC) witnessed failed leadership- national, religious and business
leaders who led people into much distress. Micah encouraged people by foretelling the place
in which the true ‘ruler’ was to arrive- Bethlehem- a remote shepherd town. How like God, to
send His Son, not to one of the great cities of the empire, but to a place of social outcasts.
What He is saying is, “I came for you!”
