ABOUT ETHIOPIA
The second most populous country in Africa, Ethiopia is among the world’s oldest civilizations and the only African state to never be colonized. Addis Ababa is the diplomatic capital of Africa with more than 90 embassies and consular representatives, which makes it the 4th largest diplomatic center in the world. Orthodox and Protestant Christianity and Islam are the main faiths observed in Ethiopia.
ABOUT OUR PARTNER
CURE International is a Christian non-profit organization that operates a global network of eight children’s hospitals providing world-class surgical care and intentional spiritual care to children living with treatable disabilities. From pre-surgery evaluation, through surgeries, physical therapy, and mobility device fitting, children receive comprehensive, transformational care. In Ethiopia, a large majority of patients are from rural Muslim regions. Our primary mission is to partner with Cure’s Spiritual Team to lead art and play therapy sessions for post-surgical and rehab patients.

Dates: June 13-23, 2024
Price: Because of the generosity of fellow CFCers we can offer this trip at a reduced cost of $2,600 per person or $5,000 for 2 people from the same family. (does not include passports and vaccinations). Please don’t let money keep you from joining us. Together we’ll work on a fundraising plan to lower our costs, giving others a chance to partner with us.
Meetings: We will meet twice monthly (7-8 times) following CFC’s second worship service. Our meetings will be in person to grow together as a team and prepare for this exciting discipleship opportunity.
