DESCRIPTION:What does it mean to truly follow Jesus?\nIn the Gospel of Mark\, Jesus steps onto the scene announcing that the kingdom of God has come near. But the King He reveals is not always the King people expected. Through His words\, His miracles\, His compassion\, and His authority\, Jesus invites us to see the true nature of His kingdom—and to recognize Him as the promised King. \nCome\, Follow Me: Embracing Jesus\, the True King\, we will journey through Mark 1-8 and discover what life looks like when we respond to Jesus’ invitation to follow Him. Jesus embodies the heart of God’s kingdom: a kingdom marked by compassion\, justice\, faithfulness\, mercy\, and restoration. He invites us to come and follow. \nThe Women’s Bible Study at CFC includes large group teaching from the Word\, small group discussion\, and a workbook for personal study throughout the week. The 8-week workbook includes guided homework designed to help you engage Scripture personally\, typically taking 15-20 minutes per day. \nGathering Options\n\nTuesday Evenings | 7 – 8:30 pm – Bethel Drive (Sept 22 – Nov 10th)\nWednesday Mornings | 9:30 – 11am – Bethel Drive (Sept 23 – Nov 11th)\nThursday Mornings at Chestnut Hill | 9:30 – 11am (Sept 24 – Nov 12th)\nChildcare available on Wednesday and Thursday\nIndependently Online – Optional Zoom group is available\n\nRegistration is $20. \nChildcare registration includes a one time $20 fee per child.
