Why should I serve?
There are numerous good reasons to serve, but primarily, we believe that God has called every believer to serve and has equipped him or her for the purpose of building the church. Without each person serving, there's a "hole" in the body! (Romans 12:1-8)

Do I need to be a member?
In most cases, membership doesn't need to precede serving. Teaching and leadership roles are the exceptions.

How can I start serving?
There are two ways to begin serving at CFC:

1) Check ministry or ministries of interest on a current list of opportunities, located at the Ministry Information Center in the upstairs lobby, at Newcomer Events, or from the church website. Return completed form to the church office via the Ministry Information Host or e-mail. You will be contacted and placed into ministry by a Ministry Coordinator.

2) If you’re not sure where to serve, or would like to know how God uniquely designed you to serve in the church, pick the “What’s Your Servant Profile” booklet at the Ministry Information Center or Newcomer Event. This is a user-friendly assessment which you can complete at home to help determine your spiritual gifts, passion, and personal style. Following the completion, contact the church office to schedule a consultation. Someone will sit down with you and help you determine where you would best fit into ministry accordingly.

Network classes are also provided periodically at CFC. Take advantage of the opportunity to learn more about the biblical concept of serving according to your spiritual gifts.
